User Agreement

Welcome to www.meyyafushi.com. By accessing and using this website to make travel arrangements or accommodation bookings, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
These terms and conditions are designed to ensure a safe, transparent, and respectful experience for all guests. Meyyafushi reserves the right to update or modify this agreement at any time, and we encourage you to review it periodically to stay informed of any changes.
Your continued use of the site signifies your acceptance of the most current version of these terms.

Booking Conditions

All rates displayed on this website are subject to a 10 % Service Charge, 17% Tourism Goods and Services Tax (T-GST) and Green Tax of USD 12 per person per night, (infants below 2 years are exempt from Green Tax).
The maximum occupancy for each room is determined by its category, as specified on our website. Additional guests beyond the stated capacity may incur a supplemental charge. Requests for extra bed or baby cots are subject to availability and will be confirmed at the time of booking or check-in.

Amendments & Cancellations

We understand that travel plans may evolve, and we’ll do our best to accommodate changes to your reservation. If you wish to amend your travel arrangements, please contact us in writing at reservations@meyyafushi.com.
Any modifications are subject to availability, and if the online rate for your new travel dates is higher than your original booking, the difference will need to be settled prior to your arrival.
While we strive to honor all confirmed arrangements, reasonable adjustments may occasionally be necessary to ensure the best possible experience.

Payment

Accepted payment methods include Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and UnionPay) or Wire Transfer. For wire transfers, valid proof of payment must be submitted before arrival.

For bookings during the Festive Season (24th December to 9th January), non-refundable full payment is required no later than 60 days before arrival. If payment is not received within the specified timeframe, Meyyafushi reserves the right to release the booking without prior notice.

For all other bookings, payment must be completed at least 30-14 days prior to arrival. Failure to do so may result in automatic cancellation.

Cancellation policies vary by season:

• Festive Season: Cancellations received within 60 days of arrival will incur a 100% charge of the total booking amount.
• High Season: Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will incur a 100% charge of the total booking amount.
• Low Season: Cancellations received within 14 days of arrival will incur a 100% charge of the total booking amount.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to reservations@meyyafushi.com and will only be considered valid once confirmed by the resort.
No-shows and shortened stays will be charged in full, including one-way seaplane transfer fees. Seaplane arrangements will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

For last-minute bookings made within 10 days of arrival, payment must be completed immediately upon confirmation, or as agreed with our reservations team via a secure payment link.

Please note that a 2.5% bank charge applies to online payments.
All payments must be made in US Dollars.

Guarantee Policy

For all bookings, an accepted credit card is required to guarantee bookings at the time of confirmation.

Transfers

Seaplane transfers between Velana International Airport (Malé) and Meyyafushi Maldives are arranged to match your flight schedule. Upon arrival, our airport Resident will greet you outside the arrival hall with a “Meyyafushi Maldives” placard and escort you to the Seaplane VIP lounge, where you can enjoy light refreshments and complimentary Wi-Fi before your 35-minute scenic flight.
Transfers operate only during daylight hours. To ensure smooth connections, inbound flights must arrive between 06:00 and 15:45, and outbound flights must depart between 09:00 and 20:00. For flights outside these times, we recommend booking a nearby hotel.
To confirm your transfer, please provide flight details and full names (as per passport) at least 72 hours before arrival. Seaplane bookings are made by the resort on behalf of the operator, with next-day flight confirmations typically received by 19:30.
Infants travel without a seat or luggage allowance; child rates apply if a seat is required. Each guest may carry 20kg of checked luggage and 5kg of hand luggage. Excess baggage is charged at USD 5 per kg (excluding tax).
Cancellations within 72 hours are charged at 50% of the one-way rate; no-shows are charged in full. All transfers are subject to weather, tides, and airline policies. Meyyafushi is not liable for delays or operational changes by the third-party provider but will assist with alternative arrangements when possible.

Health, Passport, And Visas

Guests are responsible for ensuring that all necessary vaccinations, medical advice, passports, visas, and travel documentation are obtained and valid prior to departure. This applies to all members of your party and must be confirmed before your holiday begins.
If you need guidance, our team is happy to offer recommendations. However, Meyyafushi cannot be held liable for any issues arising from incomplete or incorrect travel documents.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests secure comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that your coverage is appropriate for your needs. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that suitable insurance has been arranged for all members of your party.

Complaints

We are committed to resolving any reasonable concerns regarding service or accommodation with care and professionalism. If an issue arises during your stay, please report it immediately to the relevant authority at Meyyafushi so we can address it promptly.
Should the matter remain unresolved, you may submit a formal written complaint within 28 days of returning home, including all relevant details. This allows us the opportunity to investigate and respond appropriately. Complaints should be sent to reservations@meyyafushi.com
Please note that failure to report concerns during your stay may limit our ability to take corrective action.

Check-in and Check-out Time

• Check in time: 14:00hrs
• Check out time: 12:00hrs
• Late checkouts will be arranged on request pending availability and will be charged 50% of the room rate
• If your arrival is earlier than the resort check-in time and immediate access is required to the villa or room, we recommend reserving from the prior night to guarantee immediate access
• In the event that a later departure option is not taken, we will be glad to store your luggage until departure
• Early Checkout Charges: The full cost as per original reservation will be charged. Guests are therefore kindly recommended to purchase travel insurance covering refunds of cancellation or deposit.
